Supermarket bargains

Aldi: The brand new Super 6 this week includes Chantenay carrots, parsnips, cauliflower, leeks, mild onions and four-packs of baking potatoes – all for only 59p each! New offers start 23rd October.

Asda: Pay just £4 for a tub of Celebrations or Cadbury Roses and team that with a mug of Nescafe Gold Blend Barista Style, also £4 (was £6.88). Cathedral City Cheddar Mature is half-price (now £2) and you save £1.25 on Anchor Butter (now £2), plus pick up two Sirloin Steals for £7 (you save 82p).

Lidl: Don’t miss the Italian-inspired half-price offers this weekend with Lovilio grated grana padano (now 59p), Italiamo Arborio rice (now 79p), Bellarom espresso coffee capsules (now 89p) and vine tomatoes (now 79p/kg).

Morrisons: Vacuum-packed beef roasting joints are half-price this week, now £4.99/kg (was £9.99/kg), while you pay just 69p for cauliflower and only 49p for 1.2kg of carrots. For your dried goods, don’t miss a multipack of 32-bags of Walkers Crisps for only £3 and two four-packs of Heinz Baked Beans for £3.

Ocado: This week bag 50% off Young's Smoked Salmon 300g (now £6), 25% off Pieminister Wildshroom & Asparagus Pie 270g (now £2.62), £1 off Tyrrell's Vegetable Crisps 150g (now £1.99), 50p off Bisto Best Roast Chicken Gravy (now £1.50) and 20p off Long Clawson Creamy Blue Stilton Waitrose 150g (now £1.69).

Sainsbury’s: Save £1 on both Butcher's Choice Cumberland Pork Sausages x12 (now £2) and Wyke Farms Simply Gorgeous Vintage Cheddar 320g (now £2.50), 50p on Pukka Pies All Steak Pie 233g (now £1) and pick up two for £2.50 New York Bakery Co. Sesame Bagels x5 (or £1.60 each).

Tesco: Pork loin joints are 50% off this week, now £4.49/kg, and you can buy chicken mini fillets for only £3. If you’re shopping online you can buy Alpro yoghurt for only 50p when you buy Tesco blueberries 150g, raspberries 150g or strawberries 227g and for a cheap treat, buy Cadbury Milk Tray Boxed Chocolates 200G for only £2 (was £4).

Waitrose: The £10 Dinner for Two is on this weekend and if you’ve got a myWaitrose card you can also buy Quality Street for only £4 (was £5). Everyone can make the most of three for two porridge and veggies, plus take your pick from these two for £4 John West Steam Pots.

Westin Gourmet: Try this online gourmet butcher which has weekly special discounts. This time you get 40% off Barbary duck breasts (now £7.04 for two) and 45% off pork and leek sausages (now £2.14 for six). Offers expire on Monday.

  • Shop for three weeks in a row before 2nd November and spend £40 each time both online and in-store at Morrisons to claim your payback bonus worth £10 on the fourth shop, plus a fuel coupon for 10p off per litre.
