Plusnet launches unlimited broadband for £2.49 a month

Updated on 04 September 2014 | 1 Comment

The low-cost broadband provider announces an unlimited broadband deal for just £2.49 a month.

Plusnet has launched a bargain deal on its unlimited broadband, costing a tiny £2.49 a month.

With this offer, you can get cheap broadband when taken with Plusnet line rental on a 12-month contract.

Unlimited broadband usually starts at £9.99 with Plusnet with a £15.95 monthly line rental charge. Or you can pay £12.99 a month equivalent when you pay the £155.88 for 12 months of line rental in advance.

Go fibre!

Plusnet also has an offer on fibre broadband for £3.99 a month for the first six months. Be warned, there is a considerable jump to £14.99 a month after this term. This also needs to be taken out with Plusnet line rental on an 18-month contract.

Getting the best deal

The Plusnet deal is pretty good, but it's certainly not the only cheap unlimited broadband deal around. Indeed, as the table below demonstrates, there's currently a deal from Sky which includes free broadband for a year!

What's more, the Plusnet offer isn't available throughout the UK. If you don't live in a £2.49 area, you're looking at a monthly cost of £9.99 for the first year.
