If you’re after a credit card that’s perfect for spending, the Tesco Clubcard Credit Card is a brilliant choice.

What’s so great about this card?

The Tesco Credit Card offers 12 months interest-free on all purchases you make. So this means you can spend on the card without worrying about paying a penny in interest for a whole year.

What's more, if you're a keen Tesco shopper, you’ll also be rewarded with clubcard points every time you spend on the card.

Can I transfer a balance?

The Tesco Credit Card also offers 0% interest on all balance transfers for six months. But although this sounds tempting, it’s not a good idea to transfer across debts from an existing credit card. That’s because you’ll get caught out by negative order of payment.

This is when your cheapest debts are paid off first, leaving you to rack up interest on the most expensive debt.

So if you’re planning to spend on the card, do not transfer a balance across!
