The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has crunched the unemployment figures for a host of countries, from emerging markets and developing nations to advanced economies. Based on its most recent World Economic Outlook data, read on to discover the rate of joblessness in 30 selected countries, starting with the lowest.
According to the IMF, the average unemployment rate is 4.6% for advanced economies (it doesn't calculate an average for emerging markets and developing nations due to a lack of data).
