    It's my understand that foreigners cannot immigrate permanently to Japan, so retiring there is not an option. The IK government does not give automatic inflation increases to the state pension to those who live in many countries abroad (e.g. Australia), which must affect some people's ability to live there for the long term. And what about language? I don't fancy not being able to go to the theatre, discuss the news with my neighbours, etc

    So this feature is titled "Best Countries to retire to in 2020" which implies that the retiree is to leave the UK. However, the author has scribed an utterly flawed guidance if there is no info relating to the monetary exchange rate that impacts each destination, so presumably the inference is to stick with the UK.
