Many people who have tasted Frank Dale Foods probably haven’t heard of them, because the Norfolk, England-based manufacturer makes party foods sold under various labels at supermarkets including Sainsbury’s, M&S, Morrisons and Tesco. And the canapé producer, which makes a range of sweet and savoury bites, nearly disappeared altogether after recording a £500,000 ($611,000) loss in 2016 and entering liquidation. The company blamed production issues, which meant orders went unfulfilled.
