With their parent in office, the sons and daughters of presidents past and present have taken full advantage of their newfound fame to take their careers and money-making potential to new heights.

Malia Obama and Sasha Obama: worth $100,000
Malia and Sasha Obama are the daughters of Barack Obama, who served as president between 2009 and 2017, and his wife, former First Lady Michelle Obama.
Malia graduated from Harvard University in 2021. She's since gone on to work in television and was most recently hired by the actor and musician Donald Glover to write for his latest Amazon Prime Video series Swarm, which debuted to critical acclaim in March this year.

"She’s just, like, an amazingly talented person," Emmy winner Glover told Vanity Fair about Malia in March 2022. "She’s really focused, and she’s working really hard."
Meanwhile, Sasha has recently graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in sociology, and has yet to start carving a career for herself.

Susan Ford Bales: worth $5 million
Susan Ford Bales is the daughter of the 38th president of the United States Gerald Ford and former First Lady Betty Ford.
Susan currently serves on the board of trustees of the Betty Ford Center, which her mom founded in 1982 following her own personal struggles with addiction.
Ford Bales is also a champion for raising issues surrounding women's health and, alongside Betty, helped to launch National Breast Cancer Awareness Month back in 1984.

Susan Ford Bales: worth $5 million
Susan is the author of two novels that are set in the White House: Double Exposure: A First Daughter Mystery (2002) and Sharp Focus (2003).
In popular culture, she became known to a new generation when she featured in the Showtime drama series The First Lady, in which she was portrayed by Dakota Fanning.

Steven Ford is the son of Gerald Ford, who was president between 1974 and 1977, and his wife Betty.

Tiffany Trump is the only daughter of former president Donald Trump and his second wife Marla Maples.
In May 2020, Tiffany graduated from Georgetown University Law Center before embarking on a role as a legal research assistant at the law school.
The following year, she announced her engagement to Michael Boulos, who reportedly has a net worth of $20 million, and the pair tied the knot at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida in November 2022.

He later turned his sights to a career in TV and had a short-lived late-night talk show called The Ron Reagan Show.

Patti Davis is the daughter of Ronald Reagan and his wife Nancy.

Donald Trump Jr is the eldest son of President Trump and his first wife Ivana.

Eric Trump is the third child of 45th POTUS Donald Trump and his first wife Ivana.
Eric followed in the footsteps of his dad and his older siblings, Ivanka and Donald Jr, by appearing on The Apprentice. He served as a boardroom judge on the TV competition between seasons nine and 14.
However, reality TV isn't the only way he's made his money over the years. Eric has earned a fortune as the executive vice president of development and acquisition for The Trump Organization, and was recognized in Forbes’ Top 30 under 30 in real estate in 2012.

Eric founded The Eric Trump Foundation in 2006, which was launched to raise money for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
However, the charity was mired in controversy and, according to a statement from Eric Trump on its website, it's now being "restructured and renamed, and under new leadership."
Charitable contention aside, Eric has reportedly amassed a staggering fortune of around $300 million.

Ivanka Trump: worth $300 million
Ivana Marie Trump, better known by her nickname "Ivanka", is the second child of Ivana and Donald Trump.
Ivanka first found success in fashion after creating her own ranges of handbags and footwear, which were sold throughout America in stores such as Macy's. The venture became a huge success and, at one stage, was making upwards of $75 million dollars a year in revenue.
Business-savvy Ivanka reportedly received a 7% share of wholesale revenues each year until she opted to close the business in 2018.
Ivanka Trump: worth $300 million
Ivanka has written two books, The Trump Card: Playing to Win in Work and Life (2009) and Women Who Work: Rewriting the Rules for Success (2017).
Although she's worth around $300 million in her own right, Ivanka's wealth skyrocketed when she married businessman Jared Kushner in 2009. Jared's family owns real estate empire Kushner Companies, with Forbes reporting the clan was worth at least $1.8 billion in 2016.
Ivanka and Jared, who share three children, are believed to be worth around $1.1 billion together.
