After taking the UK music scene by storm, the Rolling Stones embarked on their first-ever US tour in 1964. Tickets to these gigs were priced as low as $3.50, or around $36 (£27) in today's money.
Since the inaugural US tour, Mick Jagger and the band have undertaken numerous epic world treks. Unsurprisingly, ticket prices have soared dramatically over the decades. The Stones' highest-grossing tour is the 2005-2007 A Bigger Bang Tour, which earned over $558 million, the equivalent of $847 million (£640m) today. Tickets started at $50, with premium seats costing as much as $350. That's $76 (£58) to $531 (£401) in 2024 money.
