The most sought-after – think rare releases, limited editions and prized box sets – are highly coveted and sell for big bucks.

No, not the 2020 Hollywood blockbuster. This is the two-part Japanese film from 1999. The DVD showcasing the adventures of the Sega fan favourite is out of print, and devotees of the relatively obscure movie will pay serious cash for a copy.
