The world's most eligible billionaires
Want to bag yourself a billionaire? We’ve sifted through Forbes’ billionaire list to find you the world’s most eligible bachelors and bacheloresses – proving that financial success doesn’t always go hand-in-hand with romantic success. Here’s our round-up of the richest singletons in the world.
Serra Sabanci, 43, net worth: $1 billion (£769m)
She's a member of the wealthy Turkish Sabanci clan, blessed with smoldering good looks and a fortune of $1 billion (£769m) – the question on all of our lips is, how is she still single? Serra Sabanci was married to businessman Birol Aktan for five years, but the pair split in 1999, and she's not yet remarried.

Albert, 12th Prince of Thurn and Taxis, 35, net worth: $1.6 billion (£1.2bn)
Beauty, brains and billionaire status, he's got it all. At the age of just eight years old, Prince Albert von Thurn and Taxis was listed on the prestigious Forbes' youngest billionaires list, after inheriting one of the Europe's largest forest reserves. He's also got an MA from the University of Edinburgh in economics and theology, lives in a Bavarian castle and enjoys driving race cars. If you're wanting enormous wealth and a chance at becoming a princess, he's your guy.
Nicolas Berggruen, 57: $1.6 billion (£1.2bn)
Ironically for a real estate mogul, the founder of Berggruen Holdings has been nicknamed the "homeless billionaire" as it was reported that he lived out of hotels. Having recently moved into an LA apartment, Berggruen is looking a little more settled – and, perhaps, ready to settle down. If he chooses to, his lucky partner will be able to share in some of his $1.6 billion (£1.2bn) fortune.

Patrick Collision, 30, net worth: $2.1 billion (£1.6bn)
Likewise, Patrick Collision is unattached right now. Like his hard-grafting brother, the online payments whiz is all work and no play. “Our dating lives are about as interesting as our downtime,” Patrick told The Times in 2017. “There's not a whole lot happening.”
Drew Houston, 36, net worth: $2.1 billion (£1.6bn)
This dashing 36-year old billionaire is not reported to be dating anyone yet, despite rumours that he dated Dorm Room Fund's CeCe Chung in the past. Gustav Magnar Witzoe, 26, net worth: $2.8 billion (£2.2bn)
Salmon farming heir Gustav Magnar Witzoe might have been born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but it hasn't stopped this dashing billionaire from pursuing a career of his own – as a model, of course. With a $2.8 billion (£2.2bn) dollar fortune and cheekbones you could cut yourself on, this 25-year old is one of the most eligible billionaires out there.

Prince Joseph Wenzel of Liechtenstein, 23, future net worth: up to $5 billion (£3.8bn)
If you're after a royal, you're in luck: the prince of this tiny country is not reported to be dating anyone. This 23-year old heir to the throne of Liechtenstein also happens to be a descendant of Charles I of England, spurring debates as to whether he's a distant heir to the British throne, too. He's expected to inherit the lion's share of his family's $5 billion (£3.8bn) fortune, so we can only imagine that wannabe princesses are lining up in their droves to meet him.
Robert Pera, 41, net worth: $7.8 billion (£6bn)
The billionaire founder of wireless hardware manufacturer Ubiquiti networks, Pera is elusive about his personal life, but he's not known to be dating anyone currently. Another member of the Silicon Valley set, Jan Koum built up his fortune as the co-founder of WhatsApp, with the app selling for a staggering $22 billion (£17.62bn) to Facebook in 2014. The messaging mogul could do with some sweet talk, though, as he's yet to find love and remains single.
Gina Rinehart, 65: $15.3 billion (£11.8bn)
An iron ore mogul and Australia's richest citizen, Rinehart may have been searching for someone to win her heart after she was tragically widowed in 1990. The businesswoman made her fortune from the cattle as well as mining industries, turning around her father's business: Hancock Prospecting was worth $75 million (£57.4m) at the time of his death, whereas now, Rinehart alone is worth $15.3 billion (£11.8bn).
