He’d also scored roles in several Hollywood hits, including The Godfather Part II, Dog Day Afternoon, and All the President’s Men.

'Little' Steven Van Zandt played mobster Silvio Dante, owner of the Bada Bing! club, which doubles as the headquarters for the DiMeo crime family.

Van Zandt rose to fame as a member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, in which he plays guitar and mandolin. He also launched a solo music project, Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul, in the 1980s.

Aside from a non-speaking background part in the 1985 sports movie American Flyers, the musician had no acting experience when he landed his breakout gig on The Sopranos.

Van Zandt has continued performing with the E Street Band and is currently part of the ongoing Springsteen and E Street Band Tour line-up.

He still acts, most notably starring in the Netflix crime drama Lilyhammer between 2012 and 2014. His most recent big-screen performance was alongside Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in the critically acclaimed 2019 film The Irishman.

James Gandolfini played Tony Soprano, the head of the DiMeo crime family. 

His role as the complicated mafia boss earned Gandolfini three Emmy awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, as well as a Golden Globe.

The actor made his screen debut in the 1987 comedy Shock! Shock! Shock!, and had also appeared in money-making movies such as True Romance, Terminal Velocity, and Crimson Tide.
