Thinking of swapping careers but not sure what to do? Company review website Glassdoor has released its list of the best jobs for 2018. The report ranks positions based on a median score of job satisfaction, salary and job openings. Note that they don't include the likes of footballers and pop stars! 25) Executive assistant: average salary £36,000
An executive assistant can typically earn £36,000 a year. The job involves performing similar responsibilities to those of an administrative assistant including communications and office management. In some companies they will also attend meetings and conferences in place of the executive.
24) Engagment manager £55,000
An engagement manager works as the middle person between a client and project manager. They maintain client relationships by keeping the client updated and involved in all aspect of the project and bring home on average £55,000 a year.
23) Brand manager £40,000
With a great job satisfaction score of 4 out of 5, brand managers can earn on average £40,000. The role is based on marketing and focuses on how brands are perceived in the market based on look, price and packaging.
22) Mobile developer £50,000
Earning up to £50,000 a year, mobile developers make software for handheld devices.

Site managers working in the construction industry typically bring in £35,750 a year. Their job involves being responsible for the day-to-day running of construction projects and keeping to timescales and budgets.

These professionals can earn up to £55,000 by working closely with a company to develop their HR strategy.

HR managers earn a tidy £45,750 on average. They have to deal with staff recruitment, monitor employee performance and make sure their employer is complying with the latest employment law.
