O2 Priority rewards
O2 Priority is one of the best-known loyalty schemes, which you need to sign up for and is available on your phone, tablet, laptop or desktop.
It’s free to join and offers many rewards, including access to priority tickets to popular shows up to 48 hours before general sale, early access to some TV shows, special discounts and even some freebies.
You can also get perks at some O2 venues, including fast-track entry or a free pie and pint by flashing your phone at an O2 Angel.
You can use the app to access O2 Priority whenever you want, which is useful as many offers are time-limited or only available in certain locations.
To view and claim any rewards, you need to sign in either on the app or online.

O2 Rewards
O2 Rewards is another benefit you get with the mobile phone provider, which rewards Pay As You Go (PAYG) customers.
Every three months, O2 adds up all your top-ups and gives 5% back after three months, which then rises to 10%.
So, if you top up £50 over three months, you’ll get £2.50 (this will rise to £5 after six months). You can earn a maximum of £150 a quarter – or £600 a year.
You can claim the cashback as extra credit or save it to get money off shows, a new phone or high street vouchers. Of course, to get the maximum amount of cashback, you would need to spend an extortionate amount, so don’t expect a huge amount of cashback from O2.
Make sure you claim or save rewards for each quarter or you’ll lose them.
To join O2 Rewards, text REWARD to 50202 or call 313 for free from your mobile. You will get a text at the start of every quarter to let you know how much you’ve earned over the previous three months, and how to claim your reward.
If you can’t wait that long for an update, text BALANCE to 50202 or call 313 – or you can check your account online.

O2 Extras
If you want a new phone or tablet and are considering a SIM-only contract, you can get a freebie for six months with O2.
This offer is only valid for specific phones, tablets and SIM-only contracts, so it’s best to check whether your desired device is available under this deal before signing up.
You can choose from a range of free perks for six months, including access to:
- Amazon Music Unlimited;
- Amazon Prime Video;
- Audible;
- Cafeyn (unlimited access to hundreds of magazines);
- MelodyVR (shows and festivals are shown via virtual reality);
- Mediation app Calm;
- International calls from 1p per minute.

VOXI DROP rewards
VOXI is owned by Vodafone and is ideal for those who need a lot of data on the go.
With VOXI, you can get unlimited use of WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest and Facebook Messenger.
VOXI Drop offers exclusive freebies and offers every month, which has included a free Time Out More card and 20% off ASOS.
You can redeem your latest ‘drop’ by logging into your account and clicking on VOXI Drop to reveal the latest reward.
Unfortunately, these rewards can happen anytime, so it’s a good idea to follow VOXI on either Instagram or Twitter so you don’t miss out.
Smarty rewards
Smarty, which is owned by Three, claims to offer ‘all the data you need for less.’ For example, you can get 30GB for £10 per month.
You can get money back for any data that you don’t use at a rate of £1.25 per gigabyte (GB), so if you have 3GB of unused data, you’ll get £3.75 off your bill next month.
You should note it costs £5 for any data discount plans, so there’s a limit on how much money you can get back if you use one of these plans.
For example, if you get a 4GB data discount plan for £10 a month, you can only get up to £5 every month depending on how much data is leftover.
