Whether you fancy getting your hands on a meal deal, clothes, cosmetics, DVDs, books, homewares or gardening gear, we've got it all for £5 or less!

Not everything has to cost the Earth. Here, I’m going to reveal 45 things you can get for a fiver or less!

Eating out

If you fancy treating yourself to a meal out but don’t want to break the bank, All Bar One is offering a £5 set price menu when you register here and print out the voucher. But hurry as this is only valid until 20 February.

Pizza Hut is also offering a £5 set price menu every Monday to Friday between 3pm and 6pm, while at Harvester, you can enjoy a main course plus unlimited salad for £4.99 between 12pm and 10pm every day!

If you prefer Italian food, Prezzo is offering any pizza for £5 every day until Monday 21 February. Simply print out this voucher.

Meanwhile, Giraffe is offering breakfast and a hot drink for £5 every Monday to Friday until 11am, providing you eat in. This runs until 25 February. Alternatively, every Tuesday evening you can tuck into a burger for £5 too!

Clothes and accessories

New Look is a great place to check out if you’re a girl in need of revamping her wardrobe. You can pick up a wide selection of basic tops from just £1.99. Alternatively, if you need some simple lace-up plimsolls, this pair (in black or white) is now only £4.

And if you’re after a new pair of gloves to keep the cold out, these funky striped gloves are now £2.50. Or if you’d prefer to keep your head warm, this knitted beret is £2.

Men should head over to Burton if they want to spruce up their wardrobe. Here, you can pick up a selection of T-shirts from just £2, this reversible beanie for £3, and this red checked scarf for £3.

Cosmetics

Matalan comes up with the goods when it comes to cosmetics. This nail varnish (in various colours) is a mere £1.50, and this lash building mascara and this Vitamin E lipstick are £2.50 each.

Half Price Perfumes also has some great deals such as this selection of Boots No. 17 eyeshadow for £1.99 and this Prestige Multi-Finish Powder Foundation also for £1.99. And you can pick up Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme for £4.95.

Meanwhile, men can enjoy this Boss Skin Healthy Look Face Lotion for £4.99 and this Juicy Couture Dirty English for Men Aftershave Soother is £3.89.

DVDs and books

If your DVD collection is getting a little stale, head over to The Hut where you can pick up some fabulous bargains. For example, Shaun of the Dead is now £2.85 and The Ugly Truth is £3.95.

Alternatively, at Amazon, The Time Traveller’s Wife is £4.49 and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is £4.99.

And for the bookworms among you, at Amazon The Bourne Objective is £4.57, while Terry Pratchett’s The Colour of Magic is £3.99. Alternatively, if you’re a fan of The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency series by Alexander McCall Smith, the 11th book, The Double Comfort Safari Club, is £3.99.

Homewares

I’m a big fan of the homeware section in Matalan because you can pick up some fantastic items at even better prices. And taking a quick look at their website, it certainly doesn’t disappoint.

So if you fancy sprucing up your home, this gorgeous purple cushion will look luxurious on your sofa (also available in red) and it’s only £5.

Meanwhile, if you need something to wake you up in the morning, this alarm clock is only £3!

If you’re doing some entertaining, Wilkinson has some great offerings on tableware. You can pick up these dinner plates, cereal bowls and mugs for just £1 apiece. Alternatively, this white porcelain dining set (12 piece) is £4.94.

Moving into the garden, if you’re looking forward to spring time and want to start getting your garden in order, Wilkinson again has some great deals.

For example, this hanging basket is £2.98 and this hanging basket lining is £1.98.

Over at 99p Stores, you can get your hands on a variety of seeds for just 29p a pack, while these bedding plants are 99p.

Poundland is also packed full of gardening gear – and everything is, of course, £1. So take a look at these garden trowels, these ladies’ gardening gloves and this selection of bulbs and seeds.
