Cheap Easter egg deals 2025: find the cheapest chocolate from Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Waitrose and other supermarkets.

We've rounded up the cheapest Easter egg deals from the major retailers.
Although Easter isn’t until late April 2025, eggs are already starting to fill supermarket shelves.
As such, we’ve started to search for the best deals on the market for those who want to stock up early.
Prices on the up
As part of our research, we’ve noticed that prices have shot up significantly since 2024.
Many cheaper eggs are around a pound more expensive than at the same time last year, with far larger hikes at the more luxury end of the spectrum.
How to use this guide
The following tables round up the eggs on sale (at the time of publishing) divided by producer (i.e. Cadbury / Mars / Nestle / Other).
They're ordered by weight, with the cheapest price for each product in bold.
If you know what brand you're after, press CTRL+F to bring up a search bar on the web page, then type in the brand name (i.e. 'Mini Eggs') and press ENTER.

Who comes out on top?
While Tesco was the clear winner in 2024, Sainsbury’s often came out on top this year, thanks to its current £2.50 deal on eggs for Nectar members.
These are typically £4 for non-Nectar holders.
When it comes to Easter classic the Lindt Gold Bunny, Asda is your best option.
If you’re looking to buy several eggs, then Asda could be a great choice as its multibuy offers often mean it can provide the best value.
The benefits of membership schemes
The value of having a loyalty card is clear from these results.
While Tesco and Sainsbury’s are often the cheapest options, they usually require Nectar or Clubcard scheme membership.
Otherwise, you would pay the same or even more than rival supermarkets.
What about luxury eggs?
Plenty of options if you’re prepared to spend a little more.
Hotel Chocolat’s Extra-Thick Easter – Milk to Caramel comes in at £34.95.
If you’re a coffee fan, you may want to consider the Double Layered Coffee Chocolate Easter Egg (300g) from Rave, which costs £27.95.
From an own-brand perspective, Sainsbury’s offers a Taste the Difference Belgian milk chocolate tiramisu egg (230g) for £10.
Also, fresh offers are coming up almost every day, so it’s worth watching for new deals on your favourite treats.
