Fancy taking advantage of extra discounts on your rail travel or more juicy deals on your shopping? We've got it all here in our midweek discounts and deals...

It's set to be a scorcher this week. But whether you're lining up to catch some of that summer sun or are stuck in the office, here are the hottest midweek deals we've managed to find.

Box office hit The Dark Knight may be hitting the cinemas this week, but action fans and bargain hunters alike may also like to know that the Spiderman trilogy box set is currently selling for just £9.98 at Amazon.

Staying with film, HMV is currently offering a selection of bargain HD DVDs starting from just £2.99. Billed as the next generation in movie watching, the discs haven't quite taken off yet. However, if you do have a compatible player, bargains include Oscar nominated American Gangster and action thriller The Bourne Supremacy.

For all you fashionistas out there, why not sign up to the H&M newsletter where you can get 20% off any one item? You'll receive a printable voucher which you can use in-store. And, if the newsletters become annoying, you can always unsubscribe.

You can get also 20% off all fashion and homeware at Debenhams at the moment with this printable voucher. The offer runs from 24th to  29th July, and can be redeemed both in-store or online. For web purchases, enter voucher code PD1P to qualify.

If you're looking for a nifty way to store all those precious photos and other important documents, Play.com is offering this 4GB USB flash drive for the bargain price of just £8.49.

Next time you're sipping your coffee in McDonalds, bear in mind that the chain offers free coffee refills to all its customers. It's a policy not many people know about, as many take their coffee away anyway. However, if you fancy chilling out for a bit, why not take advantage of the policy? I popped into my local McDonalds this morning to check the offer really does exist.

Here's another nifty website highlighted by Fool reader steviewunda. Offer Of The Day lists a range of bargain items from several retailers, including Argos, John Lewis and Tesco, highlighting their latest discounts and deals.

Latest offers include this Pro Evolution football from Argos for just £2.99 and this pack of three white sleeveless vests from good old M&S for only £1. Perfect for that Rab C Nesbitt look.

Last but not least, here's one for the Londoners among us. If you live or regularly commute to the capital and hold a HM Forces, disabled persons, senior or 16 - 25 railcard -- as well as getting a third off your rail travel, you are also entitled to 34% off the regular off-peak Oyster daily price cap for pay as you go use.

You will need to register your Oyster card at a tube, London overground or selected national rail office to qualify. Full details of the offer can be found here.

Enjoy the sunshine!

Offers Which Continue To Be Valid:

Those with little ones might be interested in Boots.com's discounts and deals on baby items this week. There's a 3 for 2 offer on selected nursery goods, and 20% off a range of travel cots, carriers, change bags and boosters.

Even if other discounts are starting to dwindle, there's always plenty to smile about when it comes to finding fab offers on DVDs, CDs and the like.

This weekend is no exception to that rule, with Tesco Jersey offering a host of savings on music. Currently, there are more than 100 CDs on offer at less than £5 each. Among them are this Christina Aguilera box set (two albums for £3), Def Leppard - Best of (£2) and the classic Madchester album The Stone Roses (£3).

Dawson's Creek, The Complete Collection is also available at Tesco Jersey for just £14.99 -- which means buyers could save an amazing £134 on the RRP. The box set contains every episode of the teen drama -- so viewers can re-watch the trials and tribulations of the world's most eloquent teenagers ever, all the way from the very beginning.

Sendit.com has a great offer on DVDs this weekend. Choose from a selected range, and you could get three films for £10. Meanwhile, at Amazon, there's still up to 70% off selected DVD box sets.

If you're after something completely free, however, there are two further offers that might interest you this weekend.

If you buy any iPod at M&S, you'll receive a docking station worth £69 absolutely free. Obviously you have to buy the music player first -- but if you're already on the lookout for one, this is a deal not to be missed.

Walkers is offering 2 for 1 entry to a range of top attractions, including Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and Warwick Castle. Just look for the voucher on promotional packs of crisps, and take it with you when you go. The terms and conditions of the offer can be seen here. Please note, certain dates are restricted.

Voucher code heaven can be found at myvouchercodes.co.uk, a website which lists a range of discount codes and printable vouchers to help you save on your everyday shopping. You may also want to check out codes.co.uk and hotukdeals.com.

And Amazon fans looking for a bargain should take note of Price Cut Review, a nifty website that lists all current Amazon products selling at half price or less.
