Get discounted Disney DVDs, 75% Off Shoes, 15 Fabulous Books For £15.99, 2 for 1 On Restaurant Meals and more!

Films, box sets and DVDs

First up, there are some fantastic offers on film, box sets and DVDs this Friday. At HMV.com, many Disney DVDs are reduced by up to 75%. Classic films such as Bedknobs and Broomsticks are available from £4.49 -- so they're a great buy for anyone on the hunt for children's Christmas presents.

Meanwhile, The Simpsons Movie is reduced to just £3.99 at CDWow.com. Buyers will save a massive £16 off the RRP.

Fans of Father Ted can enjoy more low-cost laughs this weekend: this Definitive Collection box set, which contains every episode from the series, is reduced from £49.99 to £29.98 at Amazon. That's a saving of £20.

Also at Amazon, this Flight Of The Conchords Season One box set is now half price. Comedy lovers can enjoy the on-screen antics of the crazy musical duo for £12.99.

Elsewhere, at Play.com, this complete Band Of Brothers box set is reduced by a massive 78%. Down from £59.99 to £12.99, the critically acclaimed series tells the story of the US 101st Airborne Division's E 'Easy' Company's World War 2 experiences. In my opinion, it was a great TV show -- and this is a great discount on the DVDs.

On the same theme, HMV.com's offer on The World At War 30th Anniversary Edition box set is one history buffs won't want to miss. It's now reduced to £34.99, which means there's a whopping £65 off the RRP -- and it contains all 26 episodes of the original series, plus a host of extras.

Finally, fans of natural history might be tempted by Zavvi's offer on this Planet Earth complete box set. It's now reduced by 60% to just £13.99.

Books

This weekend, Play.com has reduced John Boyne's heartbreaking novel The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas to just £2.99. Be warned, though, this is not a book to read without a strong supply of tissues!

Lighter reading can be found in the form of this Roald Dahl book collection. At TheBookPeople, it's reduced by 80% to bargainous £15.99, and contains 15 old favourites including Matilda, The Witches and Fantastic Mr. Fox.

And at Waterstones.com, there's currently a selection of half price offers on Christmas books. Online shoppers can save an additional 10% by entering the code GW4725 at the checkout.

Fashion and beauty

Fans of M&S's Per Una range should check out its clearance sale this weekend. Many items are now half price.

Meanwhile, over at Amazon, there's up to 75% off selected footwear for men, women and children.

If you have little ones, don't miss the Debenhams 20% off childrenswear event -- and make sure you check out the remaining items in the 70% off clearance sale, too. Adams is also running a buy one, get one half price offer on selected childrenswear right now.

And here's one for beauty fans (and Christmas shoppers!): The Sanctuary is currently running a 3 for 2 deal on spa products. The offer applies to a massive range of luxurious goodies.

Homewares

There are several online bargains that might tempt house-proud Fools this Friday. First up, this Ethos copper-bottomed saucepan set is reduced from £89.99 to a far-friendlier £29.26 at Amazon.

At Debenham's, there's currently a 20% off homewares event. Surfing on the site, I also found this white Denby 16-piece Starter Kit. It's seriously reduced, from £152 to just £42.

Finally, Robert Dyas has an attractive offer on this 76-piece stainless steel cutlery set. It's reduced by 65%, from £99.99 to £34.99.

Gadgets and gizmos

Pay as you go mobile (PAYG) users might be interested to know they could currently pick up an Asda SIM card for just 50p. Asda's network is currently the cheapest PAYG network in the UK, and charges just 8p per minute for most calls.

At Halfords, there's currently 10% off everything except Sat Nav systems, gift vouchers and selected bicycles. The offer applies online and in store until 4 November.

And at Boots.com, this Kodak M863 Blue digital camera is half price. It's now £79.99 -- and online shoppers will benefit from 1000 bonus Advantage Card points worth £10 when they spend £50 or more in a single transaction on the website this weekend.

Going out

Last but not least, there are two great restaurant deals available from Handbag.com this weekend. At Café Rouge, you can get two main meals for the price of one between Sundays and Thursdays, by presenting a print-out of this voucher when you order.

At Zizzi, pizza-lovers can enjoy the same Sunday to Thursdays deal by using this voucher. Both offers run until 23 November.

Don't forget.

Whatever you're buying online or in store, it's always worth checking out sites such as myvouchercodes.co.uk, codes.co.uk and hotukdeals.com to see if you can find a discount code or printable voucher.

Amazon fans looking for a bargain should take note of Price Cut Review, a nifty website that lists all Amazon products currently selling at half price or less.

And finally, it's a great idea to find out whether you can buy your goods through a cashback website such as Quidco, Greasy Palm or TopCashback: that way, you'll earn back a percentage of what your purchase costs.

Have a fun and frugal Friday, and a wonderful weekend!
