If you're planning to do any Christmas shopping in the next few days, find out how to save at M&S, Monsoon, Harvey Nichols, Debenhams and more!

With a recession looming the shops are suffering, which means many are cutting their prices before Christmas in a bid to persuade us to part with our cash. So if you have any Christmas shopping to do, or need to buy anything in particular, find out if you can save any money at the store of your choice, first:

Marks & Spencer (M&S)

After the success of its one-day sale a couple of weeks ago, M&S is planning another! Save your shopping until tomorrow (Thursday 4 December) when you'll get 20% off pretty much everything (except for food). Online shoppers can take advantage of the discount from midnight, tonight.

Debenhams

Debenhams is having another three day sale, beginning today (Wednesday 3 December) where it is offering 20% off everything in-store and online (10% off cosmetics and fragrances).

Note: not all concessions are included so check before you buy.

Monsoon

If you print out this voucher or use the code mon30 online you can save 30% off men and women's clothing, accessories and gifts at Monsoon until Sunday 7 December. Note - this cannot be used for children's clothing, or bedding, lighting, wallpaper, perfume, cushions, or at sister company Accessorize. Items bought in store with the voucher may be returned within seven days of purchase in production of receipt - those bought online must be returned within 14 days.

Harvey Nichols

Shop at Harvey Nichols before Sunday 7 December and you can take advantage of its "12 Days Of Christmas" promotion and get 25% off Men's and Women's fashions, and accessories.

Halfords

Halfords is currently offering a free £10 gift voucher if you spend £50 or more in-store (or reserve online and collect) before Sunday 7 December. Note that the voucher can only be redeemed between 15/12/08 and 4/01/09 and must be used in-store.

Dorothy Perkins

If you'd planned to shop at Dorothy Perkins, do it before Friday 7 December as you can currently get 20% off everything online, or in-store.

House of Fraser

House of Fraser is currently offering up to 30% off selected items online and in store. Print this voucher and you will be able to get 20% off items in store from tomorrow (Thursday 4 December) until Sunday (7 December). Online shoppers will also be able to claim 20% off full price and reduced items during this time by entering code FF08.
