The cheapest place to buy Call of Duty:Ghosts

There is a new Call of Duty game out. Here's where to get it cheapest.

The latest instalment in the Call of Duty range, Ghosts, is now available at shops across the country.

Eager gamers and fans of the franchise have been quick to snap up copies both online and on the high street.

But prices vary quite a bit so if you’re thinking about getting your own copy make sure you’re not getting ripped off.

The new game

The game promises to deliver “an intense and all-new gameplay experience” with a brand new story, setting and cast and a first-person shooter series.

The tenth instalment of the series has been created by Infinity Ward, the company which created the original Call of Duty and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series.

There are several different versions available to buy depending on which console you own, whether it's the Playstation 3 or an Xbox 360. Later in the month you’ll be able to pick up copies to play on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

As the PS4 and Xbox One versions aren’t out yet, these can be pre-ordered online. Some shops, such as Zavvi.com, guarantee that if you order now and the price drops before it’s delivered, you’ll only be charged the lower price.

Where to find it cheapest

If you’re buying the game for PC the cheapest price is £34.97, available at Asda and Amazon. For the Xbox 360/PS3 version head to Gamesseek.co.uk where you can get the game for £39.75. The cheapest price on the Xbox One/PS4 game is £48 at Amazon.

Prices are changing daily so it’s worth having a scan around before you make the purchase, as well as working out the price difference when including any delivery charges.

This money is paid to the cashback website by the retailer and it’ll arrive in your account in around a month after the date you buy something. Our article - The top cashback websites - has more information.

The two leading websites are Quidco and TopCashback and both have offers on the latest Call of Duty game as you can see from the table below.

You can also earn cashback and rewards when using a credit card instead of a debit card for purchases.
