Easter 2024: opening hours for Barclays, RBS, HSBC, Lloyds and other banks

As the Easter weekend approaches, we look at your options if you need to visit your local branch.

If you need to visit your bank or building society branch this Easter weekend, you may struggle.

In fact, all the major banks and building societies will be closed for the Bank Holidays.

However, all the banks we contacted told us they will be open as usual on Saturday, which isn’t an official Bank Holiday.

Is Barclays open this Easter weekend?

Barclays will be closed Easter Friday, Sunday and Monday.

All branches that normally open on Saturdays will do so as usual. However, the bank points out that most branches only open in the mornings on Saturday.

Is Co-op Bank open this Easter weekend?

Co-op Bank will be closed Easter Friday, Sunday and Monday, with usual opening hours on Saturday.

Is HSBC open this Easter weekend?

HSBC will be closed Easter Friday and Monday, with usual opening hours on Saturday.

The bank’s Gerrard Street branch in London is its only location that opens Sundays. However, this will be closed over Easter.
