The Fool's Weekend Money Saver

We highlight some of the best shopping bargains on offer this weekend.

Are you looking for bargains at the shops this weekend? The Fool's Weekend Money Saver could help you out....Marks & SpencerThe big news is that the Marks & Spencer sale starts today (Thursday.) There are plenty of items on sale with discounts of up to 50%.Several products caught my eye. For example, all of the items in the Andante dinner set are on sale at £1 a time. This includes dinner plates and cereal bowls.I'm also very tempted by the Blue Harbour chinos at £9 and the Airflex lace-up shoes, which normally sell at £39 but are down to £19 for the sale. I swear that M&S's Airflex shoes are the most comfortable I've ever worn, and a pair of cheap chinos are perfect for a 39 year-old man like me who is still trying to look a tiny bit cool.Turning to womenswear, cotton rich cropped trousers are on offer at £5 while you can get Original Bootleg jeans for £12 a pair. I also like the Sleeveless Linen Blend Embroidered Dress for just £9.NectarCollect triple points when you shop through Nectar estores at B&Q, HMV, Eurostar, Jessops. You can also save 50% on theatre tickets from Saturday july 21st for one week only.FlightsYou could fly to Barcelona or Madrid for £34 one-way with British Airways until 31st August. These fares include taxes and charges. The airline is also offering return deals to Majorca for £71.You can also get cheap flights to several Canadian cities as well as New York and from an airline called Zoom. I managed one flight from Gatwick to New York in August where you could buy a one-way ticket for only £79. That said, most of the other flights were more expensive.SupermarketsHere are some "best buy" and "steer clear" tables where you can see the best and worst deals on offer at your local supermarket.
