Nationwide launches new fixed rate Cash ISAs
The building society has unveiled five fixed rate ISAs, but only one equals what's out there already.
Nationwide has launched a batch of new fixed rate Cash ISAs, with the two-year version topping the best buy tables.
Here’s what on offer:
- One-year fixed rate ISA Saver: 1.50%
- Two-year fixed rate ISA Saver: 2.05%
- Three-year fixed rate ISA Saver: 2.25%
- Four-year fixed rate ISA Saver: 2.40%
- Five-year fixed rate ISA Saver: 2.50%
The ISAs can all be opened with just £1. However, they have to be opened in a Nationwide branch.
They are open to both deposits for this tax year and the transfer in of old ISAs.
Interest can be paid monthly or annually. All the interest rates quoted above are the annual ones.
Nationwide has already launched this year's Flexclusive ISA, which pays a joint market-leading 1.75% to people who have a Nationwide current account such as the fee-free FlexDirect or Flex account.
The Flexclusive is an instant access ISA, so you can take your money out if you need to in an emergency.
The building society also offers an instant access ISA that's open to all: the Easy Saver ISA. That pays 1.60% and can be opened with just £1.
How they compare
Here's how the new Nationwide ISAs compare to what else is out there.
