Fool Wins Best Website Award

We're all chuffed at TMF Towers because we (and you) have won an award.

We'll be having a celebration drink here at Fool HQ on Friday night because we've won an award! The Motley Fool won the "Website of the Year" gong at the 2007 Bradford and Bingley Personal Finance Media awards. The judging panel commended The Fool for "the wide range of topics and issues covered,"  and we're proud that we came in ahead of Moneyextra and BBC Working Lunch. We're also delighted that we've won an award just after our tenth birthday. Of course, we didn't do this on our own here at HQ. Support from the fantastic Foolish community has been invaluable. I'm really grateful that so many Fools write high quality posts on our discussion boards. Not only do I enjoy reading the posts, I know that those posts often inspire members of our editorial team to write articles. We've got exciting plans to increase the profile of the community in 2008, and hopefully that means we'll be able to retain our crown in the awards next year. Fool On!
