Current Discounts And Deals #50

With special offers on everything from ice cream to cosmetics, cameras and clothing, you'll find something to keep you contented this weekend -- come rain or shine!

As Fools everywhere breathe a collective sigh of relief that another weekend is upon us, here's a new selection of discounts and deals to add to the cheer. With special offers available on everything from clothes to coffee makers, there'll be something here to keep you contented -- come rain or shine! Perfect Parties If you're itching to get into the garden this weekend, there are discounts available on all sorts of seasonal stuff. At the moment, Lidl has everything you need for a cheap and cheerful barbeque -- from the barbie itself to food, tables, napkins and a parasol. I particularly like this picnic table and bench set. Made from weather-resistant conifer wood, it's a snip at £79.99. Tesco Direct is also offering up to 50% off  garden goodies  this week. This three piece folding metal bistro set is half price at £25. While it's compulsory to scoff as many burgers as you can manage at a barbeque, don't forget to save some room for pudding. At the moment, Somerfield is offering 50% off tubs of Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Does that mean we're all allowed to eat twice as much...? And if you're looking for an ideal way to soundtrack this year's summer parties, look no further than Play.com. At the moment, it's offering a huge selection of 'best of the 90s' albums for just £2.99 each -- brilliant for any Fools who enjoy the odd blast from the past! Finally, PC World is currently offering a discount of over £100 on this Samsung P1000 digital camera. With 10.2 mega pixel resolution and a host of clever features, it's a bargain at £99 -- perfect for snapping shots of your nearest and dearest this weekend. Chilling Out, Staying In Of course, the permanent possibility of bad weather means outdoor fun isn't always an option. Luckily, there are plenty of deals out there that will help you enjoy your weekend indoors. First up, HMV.com is offering up to 70% off a selection of DVD box sets -- discounts are available on everything from TV dramas to comedies, documentaries and musicals. I also love this Too Cool 4 School boxed set, available for a cheap and cheerful £4.83 from thehut.com. It includes classic indie flick Napoleon Dynamite, as well as girlie favourites Clueless, Mean Girls and Election -- ideal for a Sunday afternoon! Better still, buyers will save £22 on the RRP. Alternatively, you might fancy this Quentin Tarantino box set. At £14.93, it's £15 cheaper than the RRP and contains both Kill Bill films, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown and Reservoir Dogs. Foolish coffee-lovers could also find themselves tempted by this Philips Senseo Silver coffee maker. Amazon has slashed 50% off the normal price -- so a bargainous £30 will buy you fresh coffee, whenever you want it! Anyone looking to get comfy this weekend might also want to check out Tesco Direct's ongoing furniture sale. There's now at least 20% off all furniture, with up to 50% off selected items. Stress-Free Shopping As always, a variety of clothing and cosmetics can be found at bargain prices on the web this weekend. First up, fans of high street favourite Warehouse can get 20% off online orders thanks to handbag.com. Select your items and enter the code HANDBAG when you reach the check out to claim your discount. And if you buy two items from the premium cosmetics brands available at Boots.com (one to be skincare), you'll receive an extra  500 Advantage Card points  this weekend -- that's £5 worth. Alternatively, you'll receive  600 extra points  when you spend £60 in a single online transaction -- and you can also add to your points total by recycling your old mobile and ink jet cartridges through Boots.com. You'll receive a bonus for every item you send in, with some old phones worth several thousand points! Boots will also donate a small sum to charity on your behalf. If you're struggling to find a father's day pressie at short notice, M&S might be worth a look. Currently, there's a 3 for 2 deal on ties, as well as 25% off cases of Australian wine. Alternatively, youngsters looking to bring dear old dad into the twenty-first century can do so at a knock-down price this week: The Carphone Warehouse is offering this basic Samsung mobile for an amazing £4.95, as long as you also buy £10 worth of Orange talk time. Finally, Debenhams will start its  summer sale  next week. From 17 June, there'll be 50% off a massive selection of goods including clothing, lingerie and homewares -- and all discounts will be available first to online customers. In the meantime, shoppers can get 10% off premium cosmetics when they purchase two items or more. Whatever the weather this weekend, have a great one! Offers Which Continue To Be Valid: It's great news for dads when it comes to days out this Sunday. Take your dad to Bristol Zoo and he'll receive free entry when accompanied by a full paying adult or child. If you happen to live in Liverpool, you can get a similar deal at Knowsley Safari Park, where dads go free with an accompanying adult or child. At Dixons, you can now pick up a standard Sky box, which includes 200 free-to-air channels for the bargain price of £75. You also get four free Sky entertainment mixes for the first four months, including Sky One, The Discovery Channel, and 24-hour news. Not bad for those looking to switch to digital. Free standard installation and set-up is included. However, if you don't want the extra mixes, be sure to cancel them before the end of the promotional period, otherwise you'll be charged £19 per month. Summer may just be starting, but in some shops the sales are already in full swing. Faith has an amazing online sale, where you can get 50% off selected shoes. And Wagamama has come up trumps again with a great two for one deal on main meals. Print off the promotional Men's Health voucher, take it with you to your local restaurant, and enjoy! Voucher code heaven can be found at myvouchercodes.co.uk, a website which lists a range of discount codes and printable vouchers to help you save on your everyday shopping. And Amazon fans looking for a bargain should take note of Price Cut Review, a nifty website that lists all current Amazon products selling at half price or less.
