Here's our round-up of the new restaurant deals and grocery discounts on offer.

There are some great new restaurant and grocery deals around this week. Let's kick things off with the top offers available at your local supermarket.

Best grocery offers

Top offers at Tesco this week include a 2-for-1 deal on double chocolate chip muffins, which means you get eight muffins for just £1.29.

Several varieties of Danepak bacon are now half-price, with 220g packs priced at £1.50. And if you're after a nice posh brew, a wide range of Twinings tea (50 bag boxes) has been reduced from £2.29 to £1.53 per box.

ASDA is now running a 2-for-1 deal on Hovis rolls; you can now pick up eight Granary, Premium White or Wholemeal rolls for £1. ASDA British Beef Mince (500g) has been reduced from £2.20 to just £1.

And it doesn't make sense to buy just one Dolmio sauce. Individual jars cost £2.05, but you can currently pick up two jars (from a selected range) for £2! Finally, ASDA is still doing a good deal on multi-pack crisps, with ten-packs of Nik Naks, Wheat Crunchies and Skips all reduced to £1.

At Sainsbury's, the best deal I've found is this rather large hot chocolate fudge cake, reduced from £5.48 to £2.74.

Morrisons has reduced its white split-tin loaves from £1.09 to 50p, and its Tropicana orange juice (1 litre) from £1.78 to £1.

Netto's latest deals include eight Wall's thick pork sausages for £1.39, and six 185g tins of Princes tuna for £2.99.

And finally... at ALDI, you can currently pick up 1kg of bananas, 1.5kg of new potatoes, 500g of white seedless grapes, a three-pack of peppers, a five-pack of nectarines, or 250g of vine tomatoes - all for just 49p each.

Tipple

For cheap booze, check out the specials on offer at Morrisons. Deals include 18 284ml bottles of Stella Artois for £7, and a range of rose, red and white wine reduced by more than 50%.
