Quidco offers £50 bonus Christmas cashback

Updated on 05 November 2014 | 0 Comments

You can earn a nice little bonus on your Christmas shopping this year courtesy of Quidco.

Quidco has launched a new bonus cashback offer for shoppers this Christmas.

From now until 24th December all Quidco members can earn a bonus of up to £50 when they shop online at participating retailers using the cashback website.

The bonus will be paid on top of any regular cashback earned from shopping through the tracked links.

How it works

Quidco users will need to opt into the scheme and shop at eligible retailers to qualify for the Christmas bonus. These will be marked with a blue and white Christmas present icon.

Over 120 retailers are involved in this year’s event including LEGO, Argos, Groupon, The Disney Store, New Look, not on the high street, M&S, The Body Shop and Photobox. There's a full list on the Quidco website.

Once you’ve opted in, each eligible retailer you shop with through Quidco will count towards unlocking a cash bonus.

The bonus will operate on three tiers which are subject to a minimum total spend.

Making purchases at six eligible retailers totalling £12 will unlock £6 of cashback, shopping with nine participating retailers and spending £50 altogether will get you £25 and shopping with 12 different names involved in the scheme and spending £100 will get you the full £50 bonus.

Multiple transactions at one participating retailer do not count nor do those made on Quidco Compare. And in-store ‘check-in’ and ClickSnap receipt cashback purchases won’t be eligible for bonus cashback unless stated.

Your regular cashback from purchases made at participating retailers won’t be affected by the bonus offer. This will show up on the main Activity dashboard as normal, along with a present icon if the retailer counts towards the bonus event.

When will the bonus be paid?

The bonus will be payable when all the participating retailers have confirmed the sales. So the bonus depends on the confirmation periods of the individual retailers involved.

Should a purchase at a participating retailer be declined it will be deducted from your total. If this also reduces the valid purchases below the required targets then the bonus will become unpayable.

Cashback websites

If you shop online, you can earn money back by going via a cashback website.

Before you visit a retailer you want to shop with, you should check whether a cashback site like Quidco or TopCashback have a relationship with that retailer.

When you follow the link from the cashback site anything you spend with the retailer will be tracked. You’ll then get a percentage back in cash.

For example, LEGO is paying 3% cashback when you go via Quidco. So spend £50 and you’ll get £1.50 cashback.

It may not seem a lot, but it soon adds up if you remember to use the sites each time before you shop online.
