If you're feeling a little fed up with the dark days and cold weather, this week's round-up of discounts and deals should help to put the smile back on your face! And boy, have we got some great bargains for you to enjoy!

Fashion and homewares

Whether you're looking to start your Christmas shopping, or simply need a new winter wardrobe, now is the perfect time to make the most of the high street sales! So get those shopping bags ready.

  • Barratts: Up to £20 off selected women's boots.
  • Boots: From today (Friday), for one week only, this fabulous No7 Ultimate Collection box will be available for just £40 - saving you £20. The tiered box features a range of skincare essentials.

  • Faith: Up to £20 off selected party shoes and up to 70% off in the mid season sale.
  • Hobbs: Up to 50% off selected coats and boots.
  • Jane Norman: Up to 50% off a range of fashion and accessories.
  • Next: Selected items half price or less.
  • Oasis: Up to 50% off selected fashion. Plus 20% off if you use the online code GRAZIA09 by 17 November.
  • Office: Up to 70% off a range of footwear. Plus 30% off top party styles.
  • Schuh: Up to 75% off selected footwear. Free delivery on orders over £14.99.
  • Schudoo: Up to 70% off shoes and boots, and free delivery and returns.
  • Topman: Many sale items now just £5.
  • Wallis: Up to 50% off a range of fashion and accessories.
  • Warehouse: Final reductions on the mid-season sale with jewellery starting from just £1.

Make sure you also don't miss out on the Marks and Spencer Penny Bazaar today (Friday 13 November)! M&S will be selling 15 different items for one penny each to celebrate its 125th birthday and all money raised will go to local charities.

The Penny Bazaar will be held in all of the M&S main stores, 40 selected Simply Food stores and eight selected outlets. What's more, if you shop online, you'll only have to pay a penny for delivery until Saturday (14 November).

On the other hand, if you're looking for some snazzy new furniture for your home, check out Debenhams which is offering up to half price on selected furniture. This Large Extending Dining Table and Six Chairs is now £989.10, saving you £1,209.90!

And if you've got guests coming for Christmas, you can now save up to 30% on guest and sofa beds at Littlewoods. This Metropole Lulu Sofabed now has £100 off at £229.

Finally, Amazon is offering up to 50% off selected kitchen and home appliances. So this Russell Hobbs Four Slice Toaster is now £34.99 and this Morphy Richards Oval Slow Cooker is now £19.99.

Get a 20% discount at The Body Shop with The Independent newspaper. Pick up a copy on Saturday or Sunday to collect your voucher. Offer is valid in store or online.

Planning to catch up with some reading this weekend? Then check out these fabulous offers:

  • The Book Depository is, as always, offering some brilliant bargains on books. So if you're a Stephen King fan, you can now enjoy Just After Sunset for £3.83, saving you £4.16. Alternatively, Ian Rankin's The Complaints is now half price at £9.45.
  • Meanwhile, at Waterstones you can pick up a top 25 celebrity bestseller for half price.

If you're looking for some thumb action this weekend, Amazon is currently offering some fabulous bargains on games.

  • For example, you can now pick up Toy Story Mania for the Nintendo Wii for £17.10 - a saving of £12.89.
  • And if you've got an Xbox 360, you can get your hands on Rock Band for £14.99, saving you £5.
  • Alternatively, if you're after something for your Playstation 3, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga has £27 off at £12.99.

Finally, the one game everyone has been talking about this week is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. So if you haven't yet got your hands on it, hurry down to your nearest Morrisons which is offering the game for the fabulous price of £25.99 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 (RRP £54.99). Just bear in mind that the game is selling out fast!

Sainsbury's has also been offering the game for £26, but it is currently sold out online. Meanwhile, Amazon is offering the game for £32.
