Top Mother's Day bargains!

Find out where to get the best Mother's Day presents for less...

There are just a few days left to get the perfect gift for Mother’s Day, but if you’re coming up blank, don’t panic. Because this article is packed full of fantastic gift ideas at the best prices.

For the cheapest flowers

At Bunches.co.uk all online orders come with free milk chocolates, and prices are as low as £14.99 for Mother’s Day flowers, including delivery. For an additional £5.50 you can select a guaranteed delivery day but this is only valid Monday to Saturday.

Interflora is taking orders up until 4pm on 13 March for delivery on Sunday 14 March, and it has a great selection of Mother’s Day flowers and plants, including flowers and other gifts for under £25.

Order flowers at Next by 1pm on Saturday 13 March if you want delivery in time for the big day. Prices start at just £18.

Mother’s Day flowers at M&S start from £25, although if you go to the All Bouquets section there are a couple of internet exclusives at just £19.50. Prices normally include delivery, but if you want these delivered on Mother’s Day, a £3 charge applies.

If you need delivery on the Sunday, look out for the yellow ‘Sunday Delivery’ tag on selected flowers at Asda (order before 11am on Friday). You can also save 10% on Asda flowers if you order online and use the code MUM10.

And at John Lewis you can get 40% more blooms and free delivery on Mother’s Day if you order by 3pm on Friday 12 March.

To help you save even more money, here are a few discount codes from Vouchercodes.co.uk:

Plus, we've got an exclusive voucher code for you from Blossom & Twigs - if you order a bunch of flowers, you'll receive a free vase worth £11 when you enter the online code LMVASE.

A spot of pampering…

HeavenV, Virgin Active’s nationwide beauty spa, has a buy one get one free offer for Mother’s Day, so you can treat yourself and your mum to a relaxing day of pampering for under £100.

The spa day includes a facial, full body massage, scalp massage, file and polish for fingers, lunch, and full use of Virgin Active facilities for just £99. You’ll need to book the spa day on or before 14 March, but you’ll have until 31 May to redeem the voucher. Visit the HeavenV website for more information.

Alternatively, if you’re on the hunt for a new phone, pick up an Orange pay-as-you-go phone from a Tesco store or online at www.tescophoneshop.com before 16 March, and you'll get a voucher for a free 20 minute beauty treatment, such as a facial or a manicure. Go to Treatmum.com for a list of participating beauty salons.

Or, why not treat your mum to a day of being the centre of attention (for once) at makeover and photography experts New ID Studios for just £10. You can buy the voucher here. You can also save 10% on all products with the voucher code 10PERCENTOFF – valid until 30 April 2010.

For something a bit different…

If flowers seem a little boring to you, check out the Mother’s Day gifts from Tree2mydoor.com. Simply pick one of the beautiful tree gifts, add a personal message and select a delivery date. Order your tree by 11am on Thursday, 11 March for standard delivery, and by 12pm on Friday, 12 March for premium delivery.

Meanwhile, Vouchercodes.co.uk has teamed up with experience day specialist Red Letter Days to offer a 10% discount on a host of days out, from bungee jumping for thrill seeking mums, to a Sunday lunch jazz cruise on the Thames for a more chilled out way to spend the day.

Alternatively, why not leave your mum an everlasting message on Notedforever.com for as little as £1. Noted Forever allows you to create and post a short message or memory, which stays on the website forever. You choose how much to pay for the message (min £1) but the more you pay, the more likely it is to be posted on the main page.

Just remember that you cannot remove the message once you’ve paid so stick to something nice!

A sweet treat

Chocolates may not be the most exciting of gifts, but women all around the world will agree that sometimes, you just can’t beat a nicely-wrapped box of luxury chocs.

Right now you can save 20% off everything at Thorntons with the voucher code MDT2, which expires on Saturday, 13 March.

You could even upload a picture and buy your mum a box with your own face on the front from just £8! Standard Delivery is charged £3.95 for weekday delivery and £6.95 on Saturdays. Gold Delivery is £6.95 for next day or a specified date.

I would also recommend having a look at the chocolate and sweets gifts at Zavvi.com which can sometimes sell Thorntons chocolate treats for less and offers free delivery.

The best of the rest

For smellies and make-up, Benefit Cosmetics has a fantastic range, all beautifully packaged and you can save yourself 10% with a special voucher code for Mother’s Day; simply enter MUMDAY10 at the checkout before 14 March.
