Five fixed-rate energy tariffs will expire at the end of June, leaving households facing an increase of as much as £180 on their energy bills if they move onto standard tariffs.

Once you come to the end of a fixed tariff, you move onto your supplier's standard tariff. And these deals are almost always the worst on offer. That's why average energy users on the EDF Fixed Price 2015 tariff will see their annual energy bill rocket by £180 if they don't switch!
