Let’s take a look at this week’s hottest discounts and deals!

First up, DVDs

Let’s start with DVDs. Personally, I’m starting to wear out my The Thick of It DVDs from watching them so much, so I’m on the hunt for a new series to get into. And the best place to start is HMV, where you can benefit from up to 80% off boxsets at the moment!

However, they can still be beaten for price elsewhere. For example, if you head over to Play.com you can get your hands on the limited edition Rocky Complete Saga boxset for just £9.99 – saving you a massive £40!

Bargain books

Next up, bargain books. If you’re a bit of a bookworm, then you need to check out bananas.co.uk, an online clearance store from The Book People. Ok, you don’t quite have a comprehensive choice, but with some titles available for just 50p, you can definitely snaffle up some real bargains!

You also might like to head over to Tesco, where there’s a terrific range of deals on books. There are buy one, get one free offers on teen fiction and kids’ picture books, while you can also get two books for £7 on the Channel 4 TV Book Club best reads.
