Let’s take a look at this week’s hottest discounts and deals!

Bargain books

First up, books.

If you’re planning to spend the long weekend curled up with a good book, head over to the Book Depository where you can enjoy up to fifty percent off selected novels.

So if you’re a Susan Hill fan, you can pick up The Shadows in the Street for six pounds forty-nine.

Alternatively, Ian McEwan’s latest offering, Solar, is now eight pounds eighty-eight, saving you more than ten pounds.

Amazon also has some great offers on books. So if you fancy cooking up a feast in the kitchen, make sure you check out Jamie Does by Jamie Oliver which is now half price at twelve pounds.

Games

If you’d prefer to get some thumb action this weekend, Amazon is offering up to seventy-five percent off a range of games.

If you’re after something for the Nintendo DS, you can pick up MySims Agents for nine pounds ninety-nine. That’s twenty pounds off!  And for the PS3, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is now just over ten pounds, a saving of nearly fifteen pounds.

Alternatively, for the Xbox 360, The Beatles Rock Band is just over twenty pounds, saving you nearly thirty pounds.

Freebie of the week

Finally, this week’s freebie.

If you fancy enjoying a can of Smirnoff Vodka and cola for free, simply head over to the Smirnoff website and fill out a short form. You can then download a voucher for your free drink which can be redeemed at any participating retailer. This is valid until the 31st of May.
