We're looking for an enthusiastic, creative writer to join our fast-growing team.

Love Incorporated, the company behind the award-winning digital titles loveMONEY.com and loveFOOD.com, is looking for an enthusiastic, creative writer bursting to tell great stories covering the worlds of finance, business, food, drink and health.

You will create articles and photo galleries that will be an absolute must-read for audiences not only in the UK, but around the globe.

Key responsibilities

  • Come up with exciting story ideas that can be turned into photo galleries and list articles.
  • Research and pull together words and photos to turn your ideas into reality and upload them into our content management system for distribution to our third party partners.
  • Monitor performance and understand what’s worked and what hasn’t and why using analytics tools (full training will be provided).

Skills and attributes needed

  • Passionate about web journalism and telling great stories through mediums such as photo galleries and listicles.
  • Experience of writing for the web.
  • Photo editing skills a bonus.
  • Awareness of social media and search engine optimisation.
  • Experience of using a content management system beneficial (although training will be provided).
  • Good interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Excellent project/time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail (e.g. grammar, style, consistency).
  • Basic HTML capabilities preferred.

We offer a competitive salary dependent on experience.
