The Royal Bank of Scotland Platinum card is one of the best cards you can use to pay off your credit card debts.

Transfer a debt from your existing card onto this card and you won’t have to pay a penny in interest for fifteen months.

The catches

Just be aware there are few catches associated with this card:

  • You will be charged a 2.9% fee when you transfer a balance.
  • Even though you get three months at zero per cent interest on purchases on this card, don’t spend on the card or you’ll be hit by negative order of payment. This is when your cheapest debts are paid off first, leaving you racking up interest on the most expensive debt.
