With Father's day approaching this Sunday, here's some handy gift ideas, together with more summer bargains to get your teeth stuck into...

With Father's Day just around the corner, let's kick off with some great deals you and your dad can enjoy...

It's great news for dads when it comes to days out this Sunday. For example, take him to Bristol Zoo where he'll receive free entry when accompanied by a full paying adult or child.

And, if you happen to live in Liverpool, you can get a similar deal at Knowsley Safari Park, where dads go free with an accompanying adult or child.

If you prefer to give your dad something he can use, Aldi has a range of cheap and cheerful power tools and DIY equipment, including a chisel set for just £4.99. Alternatively, why not treat him to a range of Aldi pampering products that won't break the bank? Items are on offer from this Thursday 12th June.

Alternatively, Borders has a range of books on offer for some hearty bedtime reading. If he's really lucky, you can also treat him to a box of black magic chocolate, free in-store with selected titles.

And don't forget -- you get 20% off if you sign up for the Borders email.

If you're a registered Odeon member, you can get 2 for 1 tickets throughout July when you book online from now until 27th June. Order and you'll be sent a special e-voucher to redeem against your next July visit.

Bear in mind that the offer is only valid for existing members for screenings from Monday to Thursday.

If it's electronics you're after, Dixons are currently selling a Samsung 10 megapixel camera for just £99.99. The camera comes in three colours (purple, black and silver) so should suit a whole range of budding photographers.

Staying with Dixons, you can now pick up a standard Sky box, which includes 200 free-to-air channels for the bargain price of £75. You also get four free Sky entertainment mixes for the first four months, including Sky One, The Discovery Channel, and 24-hour news. Not bad for those looking to switch to digital.

Free standard installation and set-up is included. However, if you don't want the extra mixes, be sure to cancel them before the end of the promotional period, otherwise you'll be charged £19 per month.

Finally, summer may just be starting, but in some shops the sales are already in full swing.

Argos has a major online clearance at the moment, where you can find a range of gadgets, gizmos and even the odd Godfather - half price on the PSP at £9.99.

Faith also has an amazing online sale, where you can get 50% off selected shoes. So stock up on those Goddess sandals now!

Offers Which Continue To Be Valid:

Music maniacs might also be eagerly awaiting the release of the new Coldplay album on 12 June. If so, you can pre-order it from 4CheapCDs.com for just £6.99 including delivery. However, remember that it won't be dispatched until the day of release -- so you'll receive your CD a couple of days later.

The Book People is offering a fantastic deal this week on Horrible Histories books. 10 books are just £12.99 -- a great saving of £36.91 off the RRP.

Anyone looking to organise a mini-break in the near future might want to check out Travelodge's offer of  rooms for just £19. You need to book at least 21 days in advance, and rooms are available for stays from 27 June to 31 August.

Holiday Inn is also offering two nights for the price of one on stays at hotels across the country. Book now to avoid disappointment!

Wagamama has come up trumps again with a great two for one deal on main meals. Print off the promotional Men's Health voucher, take it with you to your local restaurant, and enjoy!

Or do you fancy a sports-packed summer break? Center Parcs is currently offering late deals in June for just £28 per person.

To get the latest offer price, enter code CPWEB into the promotional code box online, or quote CPWEB when you ring the call centre.

Here's something a bit different. If you're looking for presents for family and friends (or just treats for yourself), keep an eye on gadgetry and games site Firebox.com this month.

It's offering a whopping 50% off a different item every day in June, to celebrate its 10th birthday.

Voucher code heaven can be found at myvouchercodes.co.uk, a website which lists a range of discount codes and printable vouchers to help you save on your everyday shopping.

And Amazon fans looking for a bargain should take note of Price Cut Review, a nifty website that lists all current Amazon products selling at half price or less.
