Sainsbury’s Nectar Double Up points boost event ends today
Sainsbury's promotion where Nectar points are worth twice as much ends today (November 22).
Nectar cardholders have one last chance to double the value of their points when shopping at Sainsbury’s.
The Nectar Rewards Double Up event allows collectors to exchange their points for a voucher worth twice as much as they would normally convert into.
It's been running in-store since November 16 but it ends today (November 22).
What you can get
Your Double Up voucher can be redeemed in seven departments including:
- Toys
- Homeware
- Electricals
- Entertainment
- Taste the Difference (wine, champagne, sherry or port)
- Tu Clothing
- Seasonal
For the full list of what is and isn’t included within each department take a look at the Sainsbury’s Double Up website.
How it works
To take advantage of the Double Up event you just need to follow three simple steps:
1. Choose the department you’d like to spend you Nectar points in.
2. Head over to the Customer Service Desk or designated till in-store and exchange your Nectar points for a £10, £20 £30 or £40 voucher.
You can cash in 1,000 points for a £10 voucher, 2,000 points for a £20 voucher, 3,000 points for a £30 voucher and 4,000 points for a £40 voucher.
3. Spend your voucher in the relevant department before the end of today (November 22).
The small print
You can only get one voucher per category per Nectar card, meaning that the maximum voucher value you can exchange your points for is £40 in each category.
The items you buy have to be from the department printed on your voucher, so choose carefully when deciding which to go for when you exchange your points.
If you haven’t shopped in the store you go to exchange your vouchers in within the last year you will have to call the Nectar Helpline at the Customer Service Desk before you can proceed.
You have to spend your Double Up voucher in one go. For example, if you have a £10 voucher for Tu clothing, you can’t just buy an £8 t-shirt as your purchase has to be at least a tenner.
You won't be able to exchange your points for vouchers online, in concessions, in Sainsbury’s Locals or in petrol stations.
You can use your Double Up vouchers in Sainsbury’s supermarkets and Sainsbury’s Local stores where the included products are available. You can’t use them online.
