Tesco has been hit by an IT glitch meaning that thousands of customers haven't received their online deliveries. If you've been affected, you could receive compensation.

Thousands of Tesco customers have not received their home delivery orders thanks to a computer glitch.

On Tuesday (20 June), the supermarket giant said that up to 10% of orders had been affected, hitting customers nationwide.

A Tesco spokeswoman said: “We’re experiencing an IT issue which is affecting some grocery home shopping orders. We’re working hard to fix this problem and apologise to customers for any inconvenience this may cause.”

She also said that the glitch was hindering the selection process of some orders.

Tesco is dealing with complaints individually through  customer service – if you haven't already, ring 0800 505 555, or email customer.service@tesco.co.uk

Some shoppers who have been affected by the problem are being offered a £10 voucher in compensation.
