Nectar Summer Rewards: boost points with Pizza Express and Vue vouchers

Time is running out to swap Nectar points for vouchers worth nearly five times their value to spend at Pizza Express and Vue this summer.

So time is running out to swap Nectar points for vouchers worth nearly five times as much to use at either Pizza Express or Vue Cinemas.

You just need to have 1,000 Nectar points to take part.

What you can get

Typically, 1,000 Nectar points are worth £5 to spend at partners like Sainsbury’s, but with the Summer Rewards scheme you can more than quadruple the value at Pizza Express and Vue.

Today is the last day you can swap 1,000 Nectar points for a voucher for two mains at Pizza Express including Classic or Leggera Pizzas, Pasta dishes, Risottos or main Salads, which would normally land you with a bill worth around £24.

Alternatively, 1,000 Nectar points can be exchanged for two cinema tickets to standard 2D films at Vue cinemas, which would usually cost you around £23 in total.

There’s no limit to number of vouchers you can get but each requires the exchange of 1,000 Nectar points.

How to get the vouchers

To swap your Nectar points for a Summer Rewards Voucher you just need to visit the customer services desk at your nearest Sainsbury’s supermarket.

Alternatively, you can get your vouchers online and have them sent via email within 24 hours.

You can also turn your Nectar points into Summer Rewards vouchers using the Nectar app. Once you’ve redeemed your points you will be sent an eVoucher code within 24 hours.

Summer Rewards Vouchers aren’t available on Sainsbury’s products, groceries or at sainsburys.co.uk. During Nectar Summer Rewards Sainsbury’s is helping to the exchange points for vouchers.

The small print

You will need to decide which Nectar partner you wish to redeem your Summer Rewards Voucher at the time of exchange and some exclusions to locations and products may apply.

Summer Rewards vouchers cannot be used in these Pizza Express restaurants: Ashford  – McArthur Glen, Edinburgh – George IV Bridge, Edinburgh – Northbridge, Falmouth, Jersey – St. Brelade, London – Olympia, London – O2 North Greenwich, Newquay, Portsmouth – Gunwharf Quays, St Ives and at live music rooms.

While Summer Rewards vouchers are valid at all Vue venues apart from Vue Leicester Square (West End) and in Dublin.

Vouchers are valid until 30 September 2017, which means you have the whole summer to spend them.

Make sure you do, as after this time the vouchers will expire and you won’t be able to turn them back into Nectar points.

How to boost your Nectar points

If you need some help boosting your Nectar points balance total there are few things you could try.

For starters, you could take out a Nectar rewards credit card like the Sainsbury’s Bank 31-month Purchase Credit Card, which pays two Nectar points for every £1 you spend at Sainsbury’s and one per £5 spent elsewhere.

If you apply before 28 August 2017 you can earn 5,000 bonus Nectar points when you spend £250 in a Sainsbury’s store within the first month.
