Clubcard members can now enjoy more discounts via a new Tesco rewards programme.
Tesco has launched a new rewards programme for Clubcard members called Clubcard Perks.
It offers money-off coupons based on your shopping habits (recorded through your Clubcard usage), and savings on financial products sold via Tesco Bank including loans, mortgages and home insurance.
More enticingly, it also has several other money-off offers, which it calls Extra Perks. These currently include:
- a meal for two with wine at Ask for £20;
- two-for-one tickets for Merlin Entertainments’ attractions including Alton Towers and Legoland;
- £15 off BA economy flights to Europe.
It was also offering up to £15 credit off train fares via redspottedhanky.com, but this offer was so popular it has already been withdrawn.
To redeem the perks, all you need to do is log-in (or register if you haven’t done so already, although note that registration can take 48 hours to process) to your Clubcard online account. You then add the Extra Perks to your basket and checkout.
[SPOTLIGHT]Tesco has also moved its Clubcard TV service, which offers free streaming TV shows and films using its acquisition of Blinkbox, into Clubcard Perks. The selection still isn’t great yet, with the films mostly at least ten years old, but it could well improve over time.
Even if you don’t shop at Tesco, it could be well worth getting a Clubcard to take advantage of these offers.
If you are a Clubcard points collector, don’t forget that the latest Clubcard Exchange is now running until 2nd July. You can find out more about this in Tesco relaunches Clubcard Exchange.
