Another week is drawing to a close, and it's certainly been an interesting one! With snow sweeping up and down the country, many of us have been stranded at freezing stations or left shivering in our cars wondering whether we'll ever make it to work or back home. If you're hoping to escape the gloom and doom this weekend and lose yourself in a good book, WH Smith has further reductions in its clearance sale, with up to 50% off selected paperbacks. Both Salman Rushdie's The Enchantress of Florence and Kate Summerscale's spine-chilling The Suspicions of Mr Whicher are now just £3.99 (RRP £7.99).
Amazon also currently has up to 50% off new releases and up to 50% off audio CDs.
If you're hoping for more snow and want to take some wintry photos, this stylish 7.0 Megapixel Digital Camera currently has £20 off at Play.com. The camera comes in classy black or hot pink.
If you're planning to cook your loved one a romantic meal this Valentine's Day, this Le Creuset Large Bean Pot now has 50% off at Amazon at £25, and I think it's an absolute bargain!
Alternatively, if you really want to turn on the romance and plan to cook a Valentine's breakfast in bed, this 4 Heart Frying Pan allows you to make your own heart shaped toast and eggs. And it's now a bargainous £9.99 at Amazon.
Fashion and beauty
If you're planning to get in some Valentine's Day shopping this weekend, there's currently 80% off selected items at Oasis. H&M is offering 20% off one item (and one only) with this voucher until 13 February. Meanwhile, Faith is still offering 25% off a range of boots and there's also 60% off selected lines at BHS.
If you're desperately trying to find a Valentine's Day gift but are racking your brains for answers, Boots is offering 50% off selected fragrances, with many under £15. Alternatively, you can find some fabulous gift ideas at Avon where there's currently up to 75% off selected items -- you can now save £7 on this gorgeous Arabian Glow Gift Set which is just £8. What's more, you can get 10% off everything else if you enter the code LS2 at the checkout.

Restaurants
If you're looking to escape the crowds and go out for a romantic meal before Valentine's Day itself, or you're just planning to catch up with friends, there are still some great deals at many pizza chains.
At Pizza Express you can choose dough balls or garlic bread, a main course from a set menu, and a glass of wine or beer for just £10 per person. The offer is valid every day until 13 February and you can get your voucher here.
What's more, if you are an Orange customer, and you already take advantage of `Orange Wednesdays', you might like to hear about its new promotion. As well as receiving 2 for 1 on cinema tickets every Wednesday (by texting 'FILM' to 241), you can now get 2 for 1 on main courses at Pizza Express! The offer is valid every Wednesday until 31 August and you'll also get free garlic bread or dough balls. Just print out this voucher and bring it with you along with your Orange Wednesdays text ticket.
Even if you are not an Orange customer, you can still take advantage of some fabulous deals! Prezzo is offering a 2 for 1 deal on main courses every Sunday to Thursday until 1 March with this voucher. Strada is offering 2 for 1 on mains every Sunday to Thursday until 26 February with this voucher. And Ask is offering 2 for 1 on main courses all day every day until 13 February with this voucher.
But if you've had enough of pizza and fancy a change, you can currently get £10 off at the popular French restaurant Brasserie Gerard. This offer is valid Monday to Thursday until 28 February, and all you need to do is sign up on the website.

This article wouldn't be complete without adding a touch of romance. So if you're looking to woo your loved one with flowers this Valentine's Day, Interflora is offering 12% off all orders over £25 if you enter the code vcuklove12 at the checkout -- this is valid until 14 February.
