With Saturday fast-approaching and the sun still shining, I hope this edition of Money Saving Tips finds you in cheerful mood. If not, I'm sure my new round-up of discounts and deals will do the trick -- here's a whole host of special offers to make you smile! Have A Cool Weekend We Brits wouldn't be Brits if we didn't whinge about the weather. Hands up anyone who's felt a bit too warm over the past few days? If this applies to you, why not check out Tesco's 16 inch pedestal fan? A bargain at just £15, it should help to stop you overheating. Dixons is also offering 50% off its 6 inch mini fan, now £4.99, and £50 off this air-conditioning unit which is reduced to £129. Kids looking for fun in the sun this weekend might also enjoy this outdoor activity centre from Argos. With five possible games to play, it should keep them entertained for hours -- and best of all, it's now reduced to £14.99, so you save £5. While the children are occupied, why not fire up the barbeque? Argos has reduced this Sicily gas barbeque by £60. Now £119, it has a large grilling area and three propane gas burners -- perfect for cooking up an outdoor feast! If you want to look, as well as feel, cool this weekend, there are a wealth of places offering discounts on clothes, shoes and accessories. Office has now started its clearance sale, and USC are offering 20% off all online purchases until May 11. And for those considering a splurge on beauty products now that spring has sprung, here's a Boots offer not to miss. If you spend £60 online before May 13, you'll receive 600 extra Advantage card points -- but when you quote the code AAAE23 at the checkout, you'll get another 1000! That makes a total of 1600 (£16 worth) of Advantage points you can spend at a later date. Electric, Economical Entertainment! Elsewhere this week, there are several discounts available on electrical goods. First up, Currys have knocked £100 off this 32 inch TV in their summer sale. Now £399, it's HD-ready and comes with Nicam stereo sound. Also at Currys, this Fujifilm Finepix camera is half price at £99. It has 9 million pixels and face recognition technology -- perfect for taking a few snaps while the sun shines. If you're heavily into hi-fi, Superfi's offer on Q Acoustics speakers might be right up your street. Discounted by a whopping £200, this critically acclaimed package is now £299. And anyone looking to spend a few hours out of the sun's glare might be interested in Sendit.com's discounts on Fox TV boxed sets. There's up to 63% off action series, including Bones, 24 and Prison Break. Finally (and slightly less excitingly), anyone looking to spring clean this weekend should check out Argos's offer on this shredder. Reduced by £7, it's now £9.99 -- and it's perfect for securely shredding bills, documents... Not to mention the receipts from all your discount shopping! Offers Which Continue To Be Valid: If you're looking to invest in some garden furniture, Homebase is still offering a discount on this Seville patio set, £99. Reduced by £15, it comes with two free sun loungers -- perfect for quiet, lazy days! If you're planning to try and acquire a tan, don't forget to slather yourself in some sun protection cream. At the moment, Boots has a buy one, get one free offer on a selection of its sun care products - making it cheap and easy for you to avoid the burn.  Also, if you're a lady quaking at the thought of premiering your pins, take a look at Boots' additional offers on epilators, self-tanning products and foot care. After lending your limbs a little TLC, you'll soon be ready to ditch those tights. If you fancy doing a spot of reading while you soak some rays this weekend, check out Waterstones' offers on their 'Life Changing Books'. This selection of 100 modern and traditional classics, selected by Waterstones Cardholders, has 30% off both in store and online. Ben and Jerry's ice cream is also still reduced to £2 at Asda (both online and in store). Stock up and scoff it before it all goes! Elsewhere, Amazon is still offering discounts of up to 50% on Fly London footwear in a wide variety of styles and sizes. And many high street stores, including Topshop, Urban Outfitters and Dorothy Perkins, continue their mid-season sales. If it's children's garments you're after, why not check out Adams? At the moment, you can get 3-for-2 on t-shirts and shorts -- ideal if you need to stock up for summer holidays. And if warm weather's likely to land you in hayfever hell, why not check out this allergy reliever from Lloyds pharmacy? Using light therapy, it helps to reduce symptoms such as watery eyes, a runny nose and sneezing. At the moment, it's reduced by more than half, from £29.99 to a far friendlier £13.49. The hayfever medication Cetirizine is also now available at Chemist4u.com at the bargain price of 99p for 30 tablets -- as long as you order six packs together.
