Here's our weekly round-up of the best restaurant deals and grocery discounts on offer, plus this week's top supermarket voucher codes!
In this edition of Frugal Food, we've got cut-price organic shopping and Ben & Jerry's ice cream for just £1.99! There are also several good new restaurant deals for you to take advantage of.
As usual, we kick off with the best offers at your local supermarket.
Best supermarket offers
The healthy food price war between the supermarket giants seems to be raging on. Here are the fruit and veg offers currently available at Sainsbury's and the fruit and veg offers at Tesco.
Elsewhere in Sainsbury's, good deals include 50% off 400g of Pilgrim's Choice Mature Cheddar, reduced from £3.99 to £1.99.
Several types of Hellmann's Mayonnaise have also been reduced to half-price. And you can currently buy two 500ml pots of Haagen Dazs ice cream for £5 (they're usually £3.98 each). Yum!
On a similar note, at Tesco, by far the best deal I've found is on Ben & Jerry's ice cream - double yum! 500ml pots are currently on sale for just £1.99 (usual price £3.99).
ASDA is still running its excellent deal on bagels: Each New York Bagel Co. pack usually costs £1.22 - but you can currently get two packs for £1!
Another good multi-buy offer is on tinned tomatoes: Its Napolina peeled plum tomatoes usually cost 98p per tin - but you can currently get four tins for £1. It's also reduced 400g squeezy bottles of Heinz Tomato Ketchup, from £1.63 to £1.
At Morrisons, good offers include McCoys Classic six-packs - reduced from £1.51 to £1, and six-packs of Muller Fruit Corner yoghurts - reduced from £2.88 to just £1.40.
Somerfield is still offering eight-packs of Nutrigrain bars for £1.27, reduced from £2.55. And you can also pick up a 200g jar of Kenco Rappor coffee for £2.19, reduced from £4.39.
And finally, deep discounter ALDI is still rocking the cheap fruit and veg scene. This week its Super 6 deals include mangos, avocados, packs of tomatoes, cucumbers, packs of little gem lettuces and packs of celery - all for 29p each!
Tipple
Those over 18 can still get a free double vodka and Red Bull by registering here, printing off the voucher and taking it into a Yates bar.
The offer ends on 31st August. Just remember to read the small print, as not all Yates' are participating.
At Morrisons, you can currently pick up four-packs of Carling and Fosters (440ml cans) for £2 each.
A perfect offer for the barbecue summer if it ever comes along! Just bear in mind that each customer is allowed to buy a maximum of six packs.
Finally, the Co-op is currently running a wine festival, with half-price deals on a range of red, white and rose wines.
Best restaurant deals
After a mad few months of 2 for 1 and half-price offers, eateries are beginning to take their foot off the discount pedal. For example, several restaurants have now released deals which offer you 2 for 1 on main courses, but ONLY if you also buy a starter, side dish or dessert.
However, there are still some clear-cut 2 for 1 deals around, so catch them before they disappear! As usual, the newest offers appear at the top of the table.

Cut the price of your organic shopping
This last deal only offers good value if you're already a fan of organic food boxes delivered to your door. It's certainly not the cheapest way to eat - but if you order these boxes anyway, switching to shopping with Abel & Cole could bag you £50 worth of shopping.
That's because the retailer is currently offering new customers the chance to build up £50 credit when they buy fruit and veg boxes from them.
In a nutshell, you add code SUMMERSUB50 in the 'special offer codes' section when you place your first order (which you need to do before 31st August). After four consecutive deliveries - each to the value of at least £15 - you'll receive a £50 credit on your account.
This can be then be spent on any Abel & Cole products bought within three months. As usual, make sure you scrutinise all the terms and conditions. You can read through all the details of the promotion here.
