Flybe drops Rewards4All for two new reward schemes.
Flybe has dropped its Rewards4All programme and signed up to the Avios scheme, as well as launching a new scheme for credit card customers called Spend&Fly.
The Avios partnership begins on 27th October, the same day the airline starts operating from London City airport.
Avios, which used to be known as Airmiles, is owned by International Airlines Group (IAG), the parent company of British Airways, Iberia and Vueling.
There are two million customers with billions of Avios living within 30 miles of an airport operating Flybe flights, according to the Essex-based airline. They will now earn further Avios when spending with Flybe, and have more options on where to spend the points they earn through frequent travel.

Flybe’s previous rewards programme Rewards4All is now closed to new members. But if you're an existing member you'll still be able to earn points until 9th January 2015, which you’ll need to use by 31st March for travel by 24th October 2015.
Collecting Avios
You can collect Avios on your everyday spending and exchange them for things like flights, hotels and days out.
For example, if you have a Tesco Clubcard, you can exchange your vouchers for Avios. Every £2.50 you have in Clubcard vouchers can be exchanged for 600 Avios. An economy ticket from London Heathrow to Edinburgh only costs 500 Avios on British Airways. Just exchange your vouchers online, wait for them to come through and you’re off!
Other ways to earn Avios include filling up at Shell and buying wine from Laithwaite's.

Spend&Fly
Flybe has its own credit card, which previously allowed users to rack up Rewards4All points. Users can now earn points on its new Spend&Fly programme instead which, as the name suggests, allows you to earn free flights depending on how much you spend.
Flybe has three ticket types: Just Fly, Get More and All In. Just Fly is a basic airfar, while All In comes with extras like fast track security, airport lounge access and free food and drink on the flight. Here's how your spending converts into flights.
