Asda, Sainsbury's and Tesco all cutting petrol and diesel prices.
There is another round of supermarket fuel cuts upon us.
From midday today (Thursday 6th November) Tesco is cutting 1p per litre off the cost of its petrol and diesel.
The supermarket giant reacted after Asda announced that it is to cut petrol and diesel prices by 1 pence per litre (ppl) from tomorrow.
[SPOTLIGHT]As a result of its national cap, you will pay no more than 119.7ppl for unleaded petrol or 123.7ppl for diesel at any of Asda’s 240 forecourts. It’s the first time in four years that the price of a litre of petrol has dropped below £1.20.
Over the past five weeks Asda has cut its petrol price by 7ppl and diesel by 6ppl.
The supermarket pointed to continued falls in oil prices, with the price of oil now down at around $83 a barrel.
Sainsbury’s and Morrisons have since followed suit with their own 1p cut on both petrol and diesel.
