Rachel Robson reveals the 10 most wanted Christmas gifts and tracks down the cheapest places to buy them...

As I am sure anyone who knows me will tell you, I'm a big fan of Christmas. Oh yes, my Christmas tree and decorations have now gone up and I'm just counting down the weeks until the big day itself!

And without wanting to scare you, I have to inform you that there's only three weeks left - so that means three weeks in which to do your Christmas shopping.

But if you haven't even started your shopping yet - don't panic. Because in this article, I'm going to run through the top 10 most popular Christmas items according to Kelkoo, as well as show you where to get them at the best prices (using HotUKDeals, Kelkoo, Sccope, Pricerunner and find-games.co.uk).

Before you read on, however, please note that although all prices were correct at the time of writing, prices change all the time - so apologies if the price is different or the item has sold out when you read this.

1) Wii Fit Plus

Following on from the success of the Wii Fit, it's no surprise that the Wii Fit Plus takes the number one popularity spot in Kelkoo's hot list.

The Wii Fit Plus offers a variety of new features and you'll be able to customise your own workout routine and choose 20, 30, or 40 minute workouts depending on how much time you have to spare!

The cheapest place I've found the Wii Fit Plus is at Zavvi - which is offering it for £15.95 (excluding balance board). That's more than £34 off the recommended retail price.

Both Tesco and Amazon are selling it for slightly more at £16.71.

2) Sony Playstation 3 Slim

If you've got kids who are massive gaming fans, you probably dread the release of every new gaming system. And this year has seen the release of the Sony Playstation 3 slim - which, as the name suggests, is a slimmer, more compact version of the Playstation 3. It's also quieter (which might be an attraction for long-suffering parents!).

So if you want to get your hands on one (or your children want you to get your hands on one), you can now pick up a 120GB version for £229.99 at GamePlay (RRP £284.99).

3) Samsung Netbook N310

Next up is the Samsung Netbook N310. Netbooks have been growing in popularity due to the fact they are smaller and more portable than laptops - very handy for that commute to work. They also use lower powered processors - which are good at preserving battery life, just not so good at dealing with intensive applications such as video editing.

So if you know someone who'd like one in their stocking this Christmas, Amazon is offering it in blue for £309 - that's £40 off the RRP. Unfortunately, if you'd prefer it in black, you'll have to pay the full price of £349.

4) Olympus Mju Tough 6000 Digital Camera

Although mobile phone cameras are getting funkier, demand is still strong for digital cameras. And the fourth most wanted Christmas present is the Olympus Mju Tough 6000.

Unfortunately, due to its popularity, this camera is already sold out at several retailers.

However, if you're not fussed about the colour, you can currently pick it up in yellow or orange for £154.99 at Camera Box (RRP 299.99). If you'd prefer to have it in white or blue, you'll have to pay more - Park Cameras is offering it for £189.99.

5) PSP Go

Fifth on Kelkoo's hit list is the PSP Go Console. It's the smallest and lightest PSP yet, weighing in at just 160g. So it's bound to be flying off the shelves this Christmas!

If you're looking for the best price, Zavvi is offering it for £194.95 - a saving of £55.04. Alternatively, Amazon, HMV and Play.com are all selling it for £199.99.

6) Lips Number One Hits (Xbox 360)

Got a budding pop star in the family? If you have, I can guarantee the Lips Number One Hits game for the Xbox 360 is going to be top of their Christmas list. The game comes with two wireless interactive microphones and allows you to sing and dance to chart-topping music - from Rihanna to Coldplay to Culture Club.

So if you're hoping to have it under the tree in time for Christmas, Zavvi comes up trumps again - offering it for £34.95 (RRP £49.99). Asda is also offering it for £37.93.

7) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PS3)

The release of this game in November, and its enormous popularity, immediately prompted a price war between several stores. So if you haven't yet joined the thousands who have got their hands on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, you can now pick it up for £32 at Amazon - a saving of £22.99.

8) Sharp LCD TV

Most desired product number eight is a Sharp LCD TV - or more specifically, the Sharp LC32LE600E which is known for its fabulous picture quality and the fact it uses 40% less energy than traditional LCD TVs.

So if you're after this TV, take a look at Simply Electricals, where, if you order before 24 December, you can claim £100 cashback - meaning you'll effectively pick up the TV for just £449.95! (RRP £1,199.99)

9) Hasbro Nerf N-Strike Maverick

I wouldn't blame you for wondering what the Hasbro Nerf N-Strike Maverick is. But no, I'm not talking gibberish. The ninth most wanted present according to Kelkoo is a funky blaster that's said to be great for quick loading and rapid firing. Kids can safely aim and fire Nerf darts at their friends and you can currently get your hands on one for just £10 at The Entertainer Toy Shop (RRP £24.99). Whatever takes your fancy!

10) Nintendo Lite DS Console

Last but not least, the Nintendo Lite DS Console rounds off my list. This was hugely popular last Christmas and continues to be high on the Christmas list this year.

Available in a range of colours, the cheapest I could find was in red, green or turquoise, for £79.99 at Viking Direct - a saving of £20.

Of course, you may find that many of these presents are a tad pricey.
