John Fitzsimons searches out the best bargains for your weekend shopping...

First up, gadgets and gizmos

Personally, I’m shocking with a camera in my hand – I’m absolutely guaranteed to get a blurry photo with part of my thumb in the corner. However, if photography is your cup of tea, then you should head over to Argos, where you can get your hands on a bargain!

The Canon A490 10megapixel camera is half price, reduced from £129.99 to £64.99. It has everything you could ask for in a camera, and more, from motion capture to red eye elimination and even face recognition!

Next, cheap days out

If you fancy a day out in London, there’s a brilliant 2 for 1 promotion on London attractions over at the Days Out Guide website, covering everything from the Churchill Museum to Madame Tussauds.

Alternatively, get yourself over to the National Trust, where you can download a voucher entitling you to free entry at any one of the 300 sites the Trust protects over the weekend of 20-21 March!

Freebie of the week

And finally, this week’s freebie.

Hard to believe I know, but Spring is almost upon us. And for many of us that means it’s time to get green fingered, and get working on the garden.

If you fancy growing some of your own food, then get yourself over to the Britain on Show website. All you have to do is fill in your details, and they’ll send you over some free spinach and beetroot seeds! But be quick, as stocks are likely to disappear fast!

Links to all of today’s discounts and deals can be found in our Frugal Friday blog, which you can find by registering on lovemoney.com.

That’s it for today. Have a great weekend and join us again next week.
