Your Avios will get you that much further thanks to new long haul flight sale.
If you are an Avios (formerly known as Airmiles) collector, then now is a great time to spend them as the flight rewards scheme has just launched a 40% discount offer on long-haul flights.
Members of the BA Executive Flight Club or Avios Reward Programme can get a massive 40% discount on the number of Avios points they need to book flights from Gatwick or Heathrow to more than 60 long-haul destinations. You just have to book before 2nd November for flights departing before 20th March 2016.
The deal means you can save points when booking flights to popular destinations including New York, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Boosting your Avios
If you are a committed Avios collector, then one cracking way to boost your points is to take out one of the various credit cards aligned with the scheme, as you get rewarded with Avios every time you spend.
For example, with the British Airways American Express Credit Card you get one Avios for every £1 you spend. What's more, spend £1,000 in the first three months that you have the card and you'll get a bonus 9,000 Avios! Should you manage to spend £20,000 on the card in a year, then you'll get a free companion ticket too.
