You have just days left to take advantage of the last-ever double up event at Tesco.

Tesco's last-ever Clubcard Boost is set to end in a matter of days.

The event, which allows Clubcard holders to double the value of their Clubcard vouchers, will end at 23:59 on June 26.

So if you’ve been saving up your vouchers, don’t miss this final chance to boost them.

How to get your Boost vouchers

During the event you can swap £5 worth of Clubcard vouchers for a £10 boost, which can be spent in selected departments in store and online.

To exchange the vouchers, you will need to go to the customer service desk in store (Superstore, Extra or Metro but not Express stores) or use the Tesco Clubcard website.

There's no limit on the amount of vouchers you can swap, but once you’ve got your Boost vouchers they can’t be swapped back. So you should make sure you exchange only as much as you are likely to spend to avoid losing out.

Where you can use Clubcard Boost vouchers

This year there are 11 departments where you can spend your Boost vouchers. These include:

Some exclusions will apply (check out the full list here) and you can only shop direct with Tesco in store and online rather than Approved Tesco Partners.

The future for Clubcard users

Tesco says it is scrapping Clubcard Boost events to focus on giving shoppers more from their Clubcard throughout the year.

The Clubcard scheme allows shoppers to earn one point for every pound they spend. Each point is worth 1p and every three months, shoppers are sent vouchers, as long as they have 150 points.

Shoppers that collect points with their Clubcard, will carry on getting Clubcard vouchers four times a year.

Plus, vouchers will still be able to be used with Boost Partners like Avios, Pizza Express and RHS, which currently allow you to get up to four times the value for your vouchers at any time.

How to rack up more Clubcard points

If you want to get more from your Clubcard, you will need to rack up the points.

The easiest way to do this is to make sure you do as much as your shopping with Tesco as you can.

You could also take out a financial product with Tesco Bank.

With the Tesco Bank Current Account for example you get a debit card which doubles as your Clubcard and allows you to earn five points for every £4 spent in Tesco and one point for every £8 spent elsewhere. Another perk of the account is that it pays 3% interest on balances up to £3,000.

There’s also extra points to be had on Tesco Bank’s credit card deals.

The Tesco Bank Purchase Card for example comes with 17 months 0% on purchases and offers 1,000 Clubcard points when you make a purchase or a balance transfer within two months of account opening.
