If you’ve never tried Amazon Prime before you can sign up for the free trial which gives you a taster of the service and crucially gives you a VIP ticket to the sale.
Just make sure you cancel the trial after 30 days if you no longer need it to avoid being hit with the membership fee.
How to get the best deal on the day
You should make a list of items you want and need to avoid overspending.
On the day compare prices with other retailers before making a purchase to make sure you are getting a good deal.
It’s also worth checking CamelCamelCamel, which tracks Amazon prices, to find out if the Amazon Prime Day deal is as good as it sounds. If the price has been lower in the past it might be worth waiting for the price to drop further.
It’s also a good idea to check product reviews and use a credit card when spending £100 or more as you’ll generally get extra protection if anything goes wrong.
