Faster Vouchers: Tesco ‘to make Clubcard coupons available on demand’
Tesco shoppers will no longer need to wait for quarterly vouchers as part of a new feature reportedly rolling out next month.
You’ll soon be able to spend your Tesco Clubcard vouchers whenever you want rather than waiting for them to be issued every three months, it’s been claimed.
Labelled Faster Vouchers, shoppers can either use the app or log in online to request the vouchers you want, which will be available within 24 hours.
You would then print them off or scan them directly through the app, depending on how you requested them.
The news was revealed by the lovely folk at Moneysavingexpert, who say they’ve seen a document meant for Tesco staff outlining the details of how the scheme might work.
As Tesco wouldn’t comment on the matter, we’ll have to wait and see what further details emerge in the coming weeks.
Any such move should make it easier to spend your points as you’d be able to tie it in with your planned shops with a minimum of fuss.
What do you think? Would Faster Vouchers improve the Clubcard’s usefulness to you, or would you see this as just another by supermarket gimmick to get us using the Tesco app more often? Vote in our poll below.
